Hi! My name is Kelly Knoblauch and I am SO excited to be a part of educating your child this school year! It is going to be a year full of lots of learning and new adventures and I can't wait to experience it with each and every student I get to work with!
I was born and raised here in Kingman and am the middle of three children. I have an older brother and a younger sister, all of whom live in Kingman too! I attended Wichita State University to earn my Bachelor's of Elementary Education degree and graduated in 1994. I have been a teacher for 20+ years and have had the privilege to teach preschool, K-8 technology, 1st grade, and now am blessed to be a Special Education teacher at Kingman Elementary. To obtain my degree I took online classes from Emporia State University and graduated with my Master's in Adaptive Special Education in 2009. This is my 10th year at Kingman Elementary School and I look forward to many more!
I am married to a wonderful man, Gary, who works in the oilfield. We have four children, well actually five now, of whom we are very proud! Our oldest son and his wife are living back in Kingman after being stationed in North Carolina. Breck ended his Marine career as a Sergeant and I am so proud of his service to our country. Breck and Corisa are expecting their first baby in February and so I will be a GRANDMA! Our youngest son, Caden, will be a Senior at Kingman High and is very involved in sports, volunteering, and various school activities. Our oldest daughter, Alyson, will be in 7th grade and is involved with numerous sports she plays throughout the year. Our youngest daughter, Jocelyn, will be in 1st grade this year and keeps us hopping and laughing on a daily basis! I love my kids and spending time with them at home and following them in the activities they choose to be a part of, but expect my students to take their place while I am at school!
I look forward to another great year at KES and working with your child. Please contact me by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling the school and leaving a message. I look forward to working together with you to make your child's education experience as positive and productive as possible!
